Dear Queer SIG Members:
I have volunteered to plan social events for the Queer SIG during AERA in Denver in 2010. Please leave me any ideas, comments, or requests you have. A few facts about Denver and Colorado:
- Colorado is 1 of about 20 states that prohibit discrimination based on both sexual orientation and transgender identity.
- Weather in Denver in late April/early May is usually about 65 degrees and sunny.
- Denver gets about 300 days of sunshine per year.
- Denver has a thriving LGBT community with one of the largest Pride Celebrations in the nation, attracting about 250,000 annually.
Do you find this valuable?

I had a great time dancing at Urban Mo's at San Diego's social. I'd love another opportunity in Denver - especially if there was a bit of two-steppin' available for the urban cowboy in me. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I also have fond memories of Elle? L? -is it still open? I think they had line dancing nights so we could get the regional flair! It has multiple rooms with multiple themes (dancing, billiards, bar) - it would be cool to head there one night. Or some other place that has more a mixed clientele/feel. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I think it would be fun to visit the Enclave. Their website is: http://enclavewest.com/club/index.php (but I wouldn't click that link at work...) Do you find this valuable?
