I have sent this list in to George Wimberley at AERA and have requested more information from AERA on 3 items:1) Who decides which scholars are invited? 2) What criteria are being used to decide who will be invited? 3) Once the invitations have been extended and the participants have been confirmed, will AERA make the list of members of this Research Workshop group public along with the committee's official mission and potential outcomes? AERA could communicate this information by: sending an email to be posted to the Queer Studies SIG listserv, posting this information to the AERA website, and/or sending an email to the membership. I will continue posting updates as information comes in. Thanks to all who sent in suggestions. Do you find this valuable? |
